On behalf of the charity committee I would like to thank all of those who
helped make the Habitat Blitz Build day a great success.
We had almost 40 PPMA volunteers come out to help “Raise the Roof” on the PPMA
sponsored house. With the help of Nichole Harris of Maverick Media Solutions, we
managed to have all of the major media out for our presentation of a $6,500
cheque to Ken Bishop of Habitat for Humanity.
Mr. Bishop gave the PPMA a special thank you later that evening at the
appreciation dinner when he singled us out for bringing out more media than they
had ever seen at any of their builds.
Working side by side with the home owners and the many other volunteers made for
a rewarding experience. We are hoping to continue our relationship with Habitat
for Humanity and hope to see many new faces out for next years build.
